Request to delete my data
You can ask us to delete the personal information you shared with PolicyMatch at any time.
What we hold
When you search or ask to talk to an advisor, we store the enquiry you submitted: your name, phone
number, age, PIN code, cover type, sum insured, any pre-existing conditions you selected, the family
members you entered, and a lead reference (for example PM-XXXXXX). We never store payment,
bank, or government-ID details. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.
How to request deletion
Send us a deletion request by any of these:
- Email: [CONTACT EMAIL] — subject line "Delete my data"
- WhatsApp / Phone: [CONTACT PHONE]
To help us find your record quickly, please include the phone number you used and,
if you have it, your reference (PM-XXXXXX). For your protection we may ask
one question to confirm the request came from you.
What happens next
- We confirm we received your request.
- We delete your enquiry from our database, normally within [NUMBER] days.
- We confirm once it is done.
What we may need to keep
If you have already purchased a policy through our advisor, certain records may need to be retained to meet legal, tax, or IRDAI regulatory requirements. We will tell you if any such record applies and delete everything else. Note that the insurer holds its own records separately, under its own policy.
